Ok, so it's the year 2000 and I've built my first "modern" computer and broken out of the 486 era. Athlon K7, shiny new GeForce 256 DDR, gigabytes of hard drive space. The shop we bought the parts from was a mom-n-pop store that I think is in the 290/West region, maybe a little further in to town on 290. Pretty sure it was in a strip center and not a stand-alone building. Not a chain or large retailer (nothing like a Fry's or Altex).

What was this shop named!?

It wasn't PC Parts and Service (I would start working there in '02). It wasn't Directron or Bass. I remember the name was known among enthusiasts at the time, but for the life of me I can't remember it ... like a song you can only hear parts of in your head and hum along to it's driving me crazy trying to remember this!
