Read MoreIt’ll be a bit of a drive for me, from West U – I don’t get out much – so I want to be sure to head someplace good, somewhere that has a wide variety of ordinary Indian ingredients: various dals, fresh curry leaves, assorted whole spices, etc. Last time I went to a tiny little place we happened upon, which really did have most of what we needed, but if there’s a particularly good place we’d enjoy going there. Appreciate your advice.
Also, it’s been quite a few years since I went to an East Asian grocery store. What are the biggest and best of those now?
Any suggestions as to specific great items you think we ought to get, we’d like to hear those, too.
