Hey all,
I am a born and raised Houstonian who recently got into the tattoo scene over the pandemic. I did a lot of searching to find artists for my first few tattoos and I noticed something. It is way harder than it should be to find artists in your area. Especially if you're looking for one that specializes in an uncommon style.

So after banging my head up against the wall that is instagram search I decided to make a place where I could collect artists from around the world. But more specifically I'd like to start with Houston since this project is ultimately a selfish endeavour to make my search easier. However I hope that it will help others as well. We've already had artists added from the Houston area as well as some far away places.

I'm hoping there are others that have had the same experience as I have that woudl like to contribute to this little (growing) list with some of their favorite artists! Either way thanks for the read and hopefully someone else finds this useful!

I'm looking to canoe sometime in the next week or two around the Houston area and I was wondering if anyone had a good spot. I'm relatively new to canoeing having only done it back in the scouts when I was younger. But I built a canoe after Harvey left me stranded for weeks and I'm looking to use it now that Covid has kept me indoors for a year.

I've heard Buffalo Bayou and Armand Bayou are decent places. But I have heard mixed stories about Buffalo bayou, and I'm slightly concerned about going into the drink with 10ft alligators in my diy canoe over at Armand. But these stories are all from threads that are several years old at this point so I don't know if anything has changed.

Any suggestion would be super helpful!

Edit: Included photos of canoe just in case anyone was interested. I'm 5'11" so the canoe is about 12' ish.
