Best time of the year to plant trees in Houston?
I recently purchased a home and I’d like to plant a couple baby trees in the front yard. So far I’ve found mixed info online as to the best time to plant in the Houston climate. Some sources say wait till arbor day, some say January and others say right now! What do you think?
Do you have any experience planting trees?
For reference they’ll be baby trees, not seeds. And I’m likely going to go with a red maple and a live oak.
Bonus points for any other trees that grow well here in Houston!
