The trade that was official processed was better than originally stated

Per Albert Breer, Aidan Hutchinson and Ikem Ekwonu will be visiting the #Texans. Two guys in contention for the 3rd pick. Tough to see Aidan falling there but he’s a no-brainer if available. Icky could play Guard but I’d rather trade down if he’s Nick’s guy.

The biggest threat in our division looks like it’s going to be Matt Ryan. He’s going to the Colts.

We have agreed to trade QB Deshaun Watson and a 2024 fifth-round pick to the Cleveland Browns for a 2022 first-round pick, 2023 first-round pick, 2024 first-round pick, 2023 third-round pick and 2024 fourth-round pick. Statement from GM Nick Caserio:

Under the terms of his Texans contract, his base was $35 million, which means he would’ve lost $1.94 million for every game he was suspended. Under the terms of his new deal, he’ll lose $55,556 for every game he’s suspended. (Booty bandit made out like a bandit) Pretty massive difference.

[Ian] Important contract note for Deshaun Watson, who got a 5-year, $230M contract. His base salary for 2022 is $1M, which means if he’s suspended, it’ll come out of that base.
