Sorry if this has been posted a million times before. As the title says, I am looking to get a newer car. I am located in NW Houston near Cypress, and I am a 20 something year old college student for reference. Right now I have a 2000 Saturn LS that I have been driving around for about a year and a half to practice. However, now I feel ready for a newer car, preferably from either Honda or Toyota. What places should I avoid? I heard going to name brand lots (John Eagle Honda) will mean cars will be more expensive. I have about $11,000 saved up before I get my refund and that is where my budget currently is before I buy another car after college (and having a full-time job by then). Any advice would help as I am still unfamiliar with the area. What places do y'all recommend (or not) in my case? Is Facebook Marketplace viable? Thank you!
