Read MoreOk, I admit I am not a fan of Houston. I moved here to support my husband being close to his family.
That said, I made changes. I exercise in before sunrise and after sunset between April and October.
I avoid the highway and purchased a lot of flood insurance.
Yet here we are. The gnats this year are killing me. I look like I have a disease and no matter how much we clean the house, avoid standing water in the backyard I get bitten.
I’ve tried the home remedies with the vinegar and soap to “catch” them. I’ve used bug repellant on myself. I’ve read everything I can find online with how to deal with them. So help me, here are my questions:
One more side note, I’m white, really, really white, as in irish white and my spouse is Hispanic. He doesn’t get bites at all.
