Namm is a huge private musician convention where vendors show off their new gear. Musicians get to check out all of the cool new stuff w/out worrying about purchasing anything or vendors trying to sell you their product.

There's performances, big name musicians show up and walk around, etc etc.

Anything like that around here?

My co worker said he had found it a few weeks back and showed us where it was. When he went it was closed as well. Are they closing for good? Anyone know?

I'd like to enjoy some Wendy's during my lunch break at some point. We've tried a lot of the restaurants in the tunnels and most of them are just okay

The guys and I go down there to play before our shift ends. It's our only form of being active after sitting at a cubicle all day and now they're gone!!

Looks like they were replaced by lawn chairs and green carpet for some kind of movie? They also installed a projector.

I work for the city so we aren't allowed to telework unless they mayor allows it. It's ridiculous

No wonder Texas workers are always tired and depressed after work. They have to stay an extra unpaid hr at work! Or take a smaller lunch or skip lunch just to get home earlier.

I'm looking for civil engineering work, she's looking for graphic design work. We don't really know the area too well so we're not sure what surrounding cities to look into. I don't mind a 45-50 minute commute.

Edit: it seems my question is being misinterpreted. We want to move to the woodlands but don't know what cities are nearby for us to look for jobs. Obviously if we can work in the woodlands we would, but are there other cities nearby to also search in?
