Any other long distance runners/cyclists that enjoy exercise highs?

Edit: Exercise high meaning the good feeling you get after exercising, not through drugs lol. I’m getting downvoted so just wanna clear that up

So this Monday I went for a run at white oak bayou starting at ETC Jester and Ella and went all the way to Main Street in Downtown. On the way back I was able to run until I hit Sawyer street and I had to walk most of the way back. I hadn’t run that much in years, I used to run 12 miles at once weekly several years ago but even that doesn’t compare to this, I think.

I also like to cycle. I usually cycle in a park near my house in the Cypress/Katy area but once in a while I make a drive to the woodlands or downtown and cycle in those areas. I’m looking forward to cycling in George bush park/terry hershey and white oak bayou sometime in the future. I’m also planning on going to Huntsville state park and running the trails there.

I love exercising it’s one of my favorite things, pretty much because of the way it makes me feel. Usually when I do these extreme feats of exercise it’s because I’m dealing with something and it’s empowering telling myself that I’m going to do this no matter what and I also enjoy the exercise high that comes after. Running and cycling have always been solitary activities for me but recently I’ve realized and decided I want to make more of an effort to meet people and connect with others and doing so through exercise would be pretty awesome!

I’m not too sure I’d be doing this particular run again for a while since the return trip was so tough; it didn’t help that I started at 1 either… But something lighter would be nice. If anyone is interested in running or cycling and maybe testing your physical limits a bit hit me up (I will match your rate and speed)!
