Hi y'all! I recently revisited Houston for the first time in about 4 years to visit some family. I grew up in Katy and now live in Chicago. I've been wanting to take my partner to Houston for years now, but it's always hard to find the time.

I had an AWESOME time! I always tell everyone that Houston is one of the best undiscovered gems in the country and my partner finally got to see it. We hit MFAH and saw the new building, the Menil, Rothko Chapel, NASA, Science Museum, Houston Zoo, and so much more.

And of course, the AMAZING food. I miss so much of the ethnic food in Houston, especially Tex Mex, Phonecia Supermarket (we stocked up), H-E-B, and Buc-ees. She also got to try Blue Bell Ice Cream for the first time :).

It was so nice to go back and see that everything I love about Houston is still there. Y'all were amazing hosts. My partner is even talking about getting her parents to visit soon for a vacation.
