Recommendation for lumber yards for non-contractors?

Hello Houston,

we are planning to do some wood working (or practicing to get into it) and are wondering if you have any recommendations where a non-contractor can go and get some lumber to build things (such as simple benches, tables both for interior and exterior).

So far we’ve heard of Mason Mills and Houston Hardwoods. But we’re sure people on here have recommendations based on their experiences and such.

We would really appreciate the help and input you might have!

Looking for a trustworthy car mechanic around Cypress area

Hello fellow Houstonians, I’m new to Houston and hope you guys can recommend me a few trustworthy mechanics that handle Lexus cars. Around Cypress area or even further away depending on skills and costs.

I went to the Lexus dealership with my old Lexus (2012 IS250) for an inspection and most of the services are high in fees and wanted to compare prices with experienced car mechanics. I’m pretty new to cars so I’m easy to get ripped off with zero knowledge.

Services I’m looking for are: – rear differential – a/c air / engine air filter – 3 part fuel system – replacing the water pump (this one is the most expensive one on the quote) – four wheel alignment

I’m grateful for any suggestions and recommendations!
