So at this point with only one 2nd round pick at 40 we dont pick again till the third round at number 90 overall. My point is obviously we have to hit but personally I think we need to hit on as much as anything is impact. We need guys( rounds 2-3 especially) that will come in and immediately make a difference. Which is obviously what you want from everyone you draft but some positions do affect the game more than others. I think right now unquestionably our biggest need is pass rusher. I know our secondary had lapses last year but we had one of the worst pressure rates I’ve seen from us in years. KC especially as good as they are dont get me wrong but if you give any QB that amount of time it’s not gonna matter. I think our secondary is closer to being complete than our d-line without a doubt. Watt is the greatest Houston athlete probably ever but he his past his prime. Mercilus is just a perfect metaphor for our team as whole because he is incredibly inconsistent. I also understand there could be an interior o-linemen that would be the final piece of that puzzle as well although I dont know if the value will match. 40th overall is basically a first round pick guys will slide it happens every year. I guess my question is who do y’all think we can get there at 40 that can impact our team the most or what position or direction should we go in?
