Power Bill increase
Due to the ~40% increase in the delivery charge from Centerpoint on Sept 1, our power bill is going to be 15% higher. Anyone else seeing a similar spike? submitted by /u/CamelRacer [link] [comments]

Read MoreMy brother is visiting from out of town and none of us care for Thanksgiving food. I know it’s a big ask for anybody to be open on that day, but curious if we’ll have non-turkey options.

New to Houston area, just getting around to getting car registered, voter registration, and driver’s license. First off, I need to print out a form to register to vote? Who the f**k even owns a printer in 2020? Next, the DPS appointments are all months out, preventing me from getting a driver’s license any time in the near future? And for the car to registration, I need to make an appointment AND print off another paper, but the form to make an appointment doesn’t give you a window of possible appointment times just “When would you like your appointment?”. How is a state so big so backward?
Edit: there are only 11 states without online voter registration.
