Hi!

I live in San Francisco but spent a summer in Houston teaching way back in 2007. One of my passions is exploring google maps and getting to 'virtually' know cities (which I have plenty of time for right now). I just wanted to say that I remember really being impressed with your city 13 years ago--it was such a diverse place, and the food was fantastic. I believe that Houston is often described as 'ugly and flat'. I found it beautiful. The trees, neighborhoods, the randomness in the urban fabric.

Thinking about exploring deeper when I am able to. What are your favorite parts of town? Neighborhoods, streets, restaurants, bars, parks, etc.
