I don't usually post on here but needed to ask about a matter. My friend and I came across a lady and her child at Hermann Park the other day expressing distress. Basically she told us her and her son got tested along with other people at a Women's Shelter but the COVID test results are still pending and she is unable to stay at the shelter until they get the results back. It has been about two weeks and the test results have not come back yet.

We don't know much about the process of how shelters are allowing people in but she was very embarrassed asking us for help. She then asked for money for a room for the night so my friend and I gave her enough money for one night. She contacted us again for help however we can only do so much and are unable to sustain her and her child for a long period. We really do want to help her but we're not sure and do not know enough information to help her. Does anybody know any places or resources we can send her to?
