Hi everyone, we just got engaged (whoo!). We’re looking into planning an engagement party but honestly have no clue where to start. There’s of course hotels and clubs that do rentals, but those tend to be pretty pricey and seem pretty cut and dry.

Has anyone held an event or party otherwise? Are there any good restaurants or bars that do event type reservations? If I had to guess, I’d think we’d have 30-50 people max and good food and good drinks would be a plus. Haven’t solidified a budget yet so that’s open. Do most places charge per person?

Honestly just brainstorming though. If anyone has tips, ideas, or recommendations, they’re all welcome.
