Hello everyone, first post here. I'm a fourth year medical student currently applying/interviewing for residency programs. I recently interviewed at Houston Methodist Hospital and found out that residents in the program have to split their time pretty much equally between the campus at Texas Medical Center and the Baytown campus. Does anyone have any recommendations about a good, safe neighborhood where I could possibly rent an apartment that would result in not-so-terrible commute times to either hospital campus? I know Houston traffic can be rough but I do really like Houston and think it would be a great place to live and practice medicine long-term so I just wanted to get some more info before making any commitments.
