So I’m moving to Houston in the next couple months to be close to where the jobs are. I’m currently located in the rural Midwest so jobs that require a degree are few.
I’m still young but I’ve never lived in a city before. I’ve also never live in an area with much crime.
I want a suburb with low crime and cheaper rent prices. Does Clear Lake fit the bill? If yes then is their any good cheap apartments? If no then is there any recommendations of what area I should move to? I’m not too worried about commute because it’ll take awhile for me to get a city job anyway.
I want to ease my way into city life so a suburb would probably be ideal.
I’d appreciate any advice!
