Decided to stop going to LA Fitness on Yale today. It was insanely overcrowded(like always) and one of their trainers today kicked me off of a machine while saying, "I'm a trainer. Are you a trainer? This machine is for me". Saying this all while getting inches & inches closer to my face. It's baffling.

Does anyone have recommendations for gyms near the Heights? Preferably with chill staff?

Does anyone have recommendations for therapists around the Houston Heights area? Any that take Cigna as insurance? I'm looking for someone to talk to about stress & depression related topics. Prefer to see a male therapist.

Is there anywhere in Houston that does not require an appointment to apply for a passport? All of the USPS's near me are showing a two-week wait time to get an appointment, but those two weeks will be valuable because of when I need to fly out.

Anywhere I can just walk in?

Anyone here looking to make new friends? I'm 25 year old man & just moved to Houston, Northwest area. I like to think I'm into a lot of things. Watching anime, reading comic books, going to the gym, biking, movies, drinking with friends... I don't know I feel like if you like any of those things we would get along? Lol. Also has anyone here lived at Stonewood, the apartment complex? I really liked the units from the virtual video tours but have also read some reviews online about car theft and jackings. Might be worth it to pay extra to get a detached garage?

I'm a Civil engineer living on the East Coast interested in moving to the state of Texas. What is the market like for Civil/Water Resources engineering? One of the main reasons I'm interested in Houston is to work in water management. I've been working for 3 years mostly in roadway design/fieldwork but just passed my Professional Engineering licensure exam in Water.

I think I would get pretty acclimated to Houston fast. I'm originally from Tampa but live in Philadelphia now. I absolutely hate Philadelphia, it's not for me. So I am looking to move to a lower COL city with a big airport nearby. Anyone have any insight or leads? Thanks!
