Before David Johnson Proves Every BoB Hater Wrong Lets Not Forget….

I’ve been reading a lot about David Johnson looking great at training camp, best shape of his life, fastest he’s every looked yada yada yada… BoB has a knack for getting his ass saved by luck and sometimes other teams (getting gifted wins on the regular, sudden retirement of star QB etc.) before DJ comes in and makes the Dhop trade look good, lets not forget a big reason the DHop trade was TERRIBLE in one simple word… The RETURN!

Look DHop is great we all know that. He could realistically be an all time great when all is said and done. But no player (aside from franchise QB maybe) should be untouchable in the trading market, assuming of course… The RETURN MATCHES OR EXCEEDS THEIR Value. the 2nd round pick and a 3rd string RB don’t match the value of a stud WR, especially when Diggs got Powerball jackpot of a haul and we got a gas station scratch off win for a hands down better player…

So when BoB gets redeemed because DJ (and I hope this happens) has a great season and looks like the 2016 version of himself. Don’t forget we should have been picking in the 1st round come April/May…

TL;DR BoB gets his skin saved time and time again despite bone head move after bone head move.

Andre Johnson

I think it’s because it was his birthday last week but I’ve seen so many Andre Johnson videos on my social media over the last 7-10. And I’ll I have to say is damn… I miss that guy.

He was an unstoppable monster at WR. Was the most professional and low key (especially for all the diva WRs out there) player in the NFL. Was the original JJ Watt when it came to giving back (toys are us anyone?)

Just watched his retirement speech talking about how he played mad because of how he grew up. And didn’t want to go back living in that situation. The man earned and deserves all the success he got. And I hope he only has a more successful future after his playing days. Fingers crossed he replaces BoB.

They don’t make um like Andre Johnson anymore, and I miss seeing him every Sunday.

That is all, said what I needed to say

Can someone explain why we signed Cobb?

Can someone explain why we signed Cobb for a relatively high price tag when we were planning on trading for an other WR i.e. Cooks? We now have 4 WR that were paying for with one I have to assuming being the odd man out in terms of playing time… assuming they all stay healthy, it prob will be cobb.

My theory is BoB has been playing Madden on Rookie mode during quarantine and thought… Why don’t we run a 4 WR hail mary every time, we can score like 50 points a game!!!

Does what happens with Tunsil effect your thoughts on last offseason?

I am and will forever be a BoB hater. Sorry not sorry – he’s mediocre and we deserve better… I won’t stop drinking the Haterade… But again I digress…

Last offseason deals were hated, then loved, then hated again, and then loved again. I was never a fan of any of them, but saw a lot people on here saying they panned out ok once everything was all said and done. If Houston mortgaged the next two drafts to get Tunsil… and they can’t resign him. How is this not a complete and utter failure of epic proportions? Everyone and their mother knew he would want top dollar, especially with Tunsil holding all the cards knowing what the Texans gave up to get him. How this wasn’t negotiated pre-trade or made a condition of the trade seems idiotic. Maybe he will resign, and hell, maybe he resigns at a competitive price (doubt it), but with the news of him firing his agent, you have to assume its a greater than 0% chance he doesn’t come back next year. If all we have to show for all the picks we gifted to Miami is Kenny Stills, how would this dude still have a job anywhere else?!

Am I wrong?
