Can the trade be "voided"? and how?

Been seeing a few articles like this below making mention that the Browns are not looking to “void the trade with the Texans”…

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cleveland.com/browns/2022/06/browns-are-still-all-in-on-deshaun-watson-and-not-looking-to-void-the-230-million-contract-sources-say.html%3foutputType=amp

That got me thinking how is that even possible, especially since we’ve already used some of the picks from the trade this past draft. But, since the Texans are now defendants and may have been “in” on it with Watson providing him NDAs and hotel rooms etc. Does this jeopardize the trade in anyway? If so how… Would we have to forfeit/return the remaining picks from the trade? Exchange/forfeit picks for the ones we already used this past draft?

I know this is an odd situation and an essentially an unprecedented trade, but anyone know the rules in this case?

What’s with all this we can’t rebuild in a year talk?

Look at the 2011 to 2012 (FT)Colts. The final year in Indy when Manning got hurt and couldn’t play the team was terrible. Bottom 5 in so many categories especially offense.

ONE good off-season including a draft class with a good qb (not great) and a few extra later round picks and they go from worst to back to back 11-5 seasons. Not saying it’s easy but it’s for sure doable… Especially if we get multiple 1st and 2nd rounders for unloading Watson and who else we ship out between now and may.

Calling it now 2022 AFC South Champs!

Any silver lining to this season?

I know we’ve all probably come to the harsh realization that we are going to be bottom feeders in the NFL for the foreseeable future.

I didn’t think my excitement for an upcoming season could have been lower than it was coming into last season with BoB at the helm still …but here we are…

are there any silver linings that we have to look forward to this season? Or should I just be prepared to start rooting solely for my fantasy team this year.

Does this mean Miami is trading for Watson?

Is this move Miami gearing up for another trade?

I understand the Texans wanted a “high pick” in return for DW4 but does this move actually make the Dolphins a stronger play for Watson? Now they are one of the only teams that can legit offer 4 four first rounders by next draft for Watson… not including any additional draft pick they throw in as icing on the cake. I always thought Miami was poised as the only team who could make the trade work roster and draft wise… wondering if anyone else thinks the same

This is all assuming DW4 isn’t behind bars soon. Obviously

Is there a realistic way we trade Watson before the draft anymore?

I’m guessing this DW-4 mess won’t be cleared up by May (or am I wrong?). What does that do to the potential trade value – assuming he is cleared after the draft?

Is he really going to do a 180 and stay after he was so adamant he wanted out and never playing in houston again?

Assuming he still doesn’t want to stay, do either sides really have a choice here? I’ve wanted this mexican standoff to be over a long time ago, but it looks like it may be dragged out well into the preseason.

Do we even want to be the patriots of the south?

I know that was a running theme and the way we wanted to build our franchise with the BoB hire and the long chase and now hire of Nick C. it seems like its what we are still striving for.

I think it’s pretty clear Brady was the gas that moved the motor in NE and Bill B. got exposed this year. His coaching tree is terrible considering BoB is one of his “good examples” of a successful disciple. The Stafford refusing to be traded there kind of summed it up… the toxic environment these guys put on is only cool when you are winning. And none of the Pats guys seem to be able to win without Tommy Boy. – Before we look back at 2008 and the 11-5 Cassel year. Remember Brady was 16-0 with essentially the same team. That’s a 5 game drop off from the previous year.

I know we just cleaned house. But I really wish we can clean house again- starting all the way at the top this time… This sucks.
