I keep seeing ‘I waited for X hours in line for testing’ posts on social media. Maybe the rush is over but if you’re still looking, the giant Curative site at Minute Maid has ZERO people waiting rn Tuesday AM. Last week when I was tested they were running 400 appointments an hour. So even if there’s a line, it’s fast. Got my results the next day.

So, I’m an idiot. I haven’t been to the dentist in over 8 years. I’m a professional homeowning adult with insurance. I could give you the long rundown of why but it boils down to I’m a stubborn dumbass.

I went regularly through childhood and up til I was 27. Only ever had 1 cavity. Then I stopped. I’m starting to have issues and to be honest, I’m terrified and embarrassed. I know it’s going to be long and painful and expensive. I don’t really know where to start.

Anyone have a dentist recommendation hopefully inside the beltway, maybe one that specializes in idiots. Thanks.

Texas Taco & BBQ on Telephone is essentially Villa Arcos with an expanded menu.

Super is called a Supreme there but even the employees call it a Super when you order. Same cube cut bacon, same salsas… everything. As good or better than VA. Better imo.

They have a much larger menu including menudo, chili, and full bbq plates if that’s your thing but I eat breakfast tacos 3 meals a day so idk.

I don’t recall the exact drama but around the time Yolanda Black Navarro died, there was a dispute and the owner and the operater of VA split so this place is essentially the exact same as Villa Arcos.

Tl;Dr – Villa Arcos is closed, Brothers isn’t good enough to be waiting in line for…go here.
