Questions from a desperate former Browns fan.
When I got the news on Friday, I was sick. I had made up my mind when we were pursuing him that if we somehow land him, I am done. Then, I got the notification on Friday, and I was devastated. The Browns subreddit is in shambles. People arguing both sides. One post really got me going down the rabbit hole. “What does Watson have to do to make this right?” My answer is he can’t. Then, someone posted that he needs to be innocent. I started reading everything, trying to save a lifelong Browns Fandom. I read transcripts. The reports from all the accusers. I went down a Twitter thread of a lawyer in Columbus who sounds like a conspiracy theorist. I don’t know what to think of it all. That is why I am here. You guys know! You have been living this for over a year. Is there a possibility this guy could be really innocent? I know nothing about him. Were their rumors before the reports came out? The timing of the reports is what a lot of fans are clinging to. Supposedly, the owner was racist ? The lawyer is a next-door neighbor to someone? What is real????? Is there any facts we need to know? It sounds like I will be boxing up my Browns gear, but I just want to do my due diligence. Thank you for your responses.
