Just got back from El Tiempo where I had some seriously mediocre fajitas. No grill marks, so cooked on a griddle. No marinade or seasoning from what I could taste. Just meat drowning in butter. 8 ounces for $45. Is this normal? I haven't had fajitas at a restaurant in awhile so I'm wondering if this is what a single serving of fajitas goes for in this town or are they just super proud of their not so good fajitas?

Our anniversary is coming up and I'd like to take my wife somewhere we've never been. Last weekend we were at Truluck's and they had a guy playing piano and singing a really good variety of songs. My wife loved it. It was like she blossomed a little. She's usually very reserved but she was interacting with the guy (almost like flirting) and really enjoyed listening to him. So I really want to give her a chance to have another similar experience. I'm explaining all this in detail because I want to be very clear that I'm not looking for a restaurant with a band or any kind of ensemble. I don't want loud... I want something very similar to what I described. Lone voice over a piano, or maybe a soft guitar. Something with a pleasant volume. I'm going to take her back to Trulucks soon, but I'd really like to find something different for our anniversary. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
