Which teams are most likely to target Will Anderson next year?

Teams likely to pick top 5 next year are Texans, Jags, Jets, Giants, Bears, Lions, Falcons, and Panthers. Since the Jags, Lions and Giants took edge this year, I don’t know if any of them would still take Anderson. Also, the Giants and Lions may target a QB, and we know the Panthers will. The Bears desperately need oline help but that doesn’t necessarily rule them out.

Just curious which teams we’ll be competing against for Anderson, assuming Lovie and Caserio like him. Which I suspect they do as he’s a quiet, family guy and fits their player profile.

Stat hounds – what’s the most wins in a season by a team picking first overall?

I wasn’t able to find the answer via Google. Most of the bad teams improved on paper (Jags, Lions, Jets, Texans) and I’m thinking teams picking early next year may have more wins than usual. I could see the first pick going to a team with 3 or 4 wins and a team with 6 or 7 wins still picking relatively early. Curious if anyone foresees a scenario where we exceed expectations and still end up picking in the top 5.

Question about prevent defense

I’ve always hated the prevent defense as it usually turns out badly. After the Bills/Chiefs game I saw someone make a comment that the Bills should have sent out LBs and DBs with no lineman. Then the Bengals basically played this way, few lineman and a spy, and it worked perfectly. Is this the answer to stopping high-powered offenses (with under a minute to play) or will offenses find a way to take advantage of it?

Well, at least we’re seeing Watson get the respect he deserves from other fans.

Before the rumors started, I constantly saw comments that Watson was maybe a top 10 QB, but not a top 5 QB. But now, everybody is finally admitting he’s an elite, top 5 QB. The sheer number of fans that are willing to trade an absolute haul (understandably), plus their first born child is amazing. So, while it’s been unpleasant, it’s also been quite refreshing. And it’s not something I’ll forget over the next few years when he’s balling out for the Texans and people return to shitting on him.
