Hi all, need to learn how to drive, I have 8 weeks to go before I need to drive from home to work (from Heights to Woodlands).

Can you all recommend the best strategy here? I have my husband who can teach me but I'm not sure if that's the fastest route to learn or maybe should I just go to driving school? (hoping to pay less $500 but not sure if that's realistic)

I have my learner's permit already (although it has been expired for 3 months without being converted).

Any thoughts/advice is much appreciated.

Hi all, I'm renting a first floor apartment with a balcony near the grass & trees.

We are constantly being invaded by armyworms in our balcony for more than 2 weeks now.

I can't keep killing them since another "army" of worms crawl in every 3 mins so I was thinking if there is a certain product I can sprinkle on or apply drops of on the perimeter of our balcony floor to prevent the armyworms from crawling in. Our dog likes to stay in the balcony but can't open and close the door of course lol so if he wants to stay there, we have to keep the door open for him and the armyworms start entering our home as well. :(

So far only tabasco works but it dries up so I have to keep reapplying and buying bottles of it if I really want to use it. I was wondering if y'all have suggestions. I have tried putting liquid soap, salt, bar keepers friend as well but doesnt do the job as well as tabasco. Has anyone encountered the same problem?

Our 15 yr old dog suddenly lost his ability to stand up 9pm last night. We dont really have a lot of money to go to the animal hospital, we will do it last resort but I wonder if anyone here knows of a vet open today, Saturday, where we can walk-in or book a "sudden" appointment this morning? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I'm Houston Heights area.
