Is it possible to request/get a new public defender if the one assigned isn’t doing their job? If yes, how does one start that process? Asking for someone who has been held since Feb with no arraignment, public defender keeps requesting new court day but doesn’t ever communicate why nor let the defendant know they are requesting extensions.
