I'm seriously considering moving to Houston with my 12 year old son for work and to escape a very toxic situation. Are there any issues with him being home alone while I'm working? He's mature enough for his age and can take care of himself. I'm just curious what other parents in the same situation do. I've consulted the dfps website and there really isn't a minimum age. Thoughts?
