Moving from Katy into Houston and have done countless days of research including through r/houston but nothing pertaining to places where my fiancé and I are looking so I figured I’d ask.

With prices dropped due to the current economic climate and incentives galore, there are plenty of options to choose from but I tend to be a bit skeptical when it comes to looking at reviews, even through Google.

Below is a couple that we’d found in our $1200ish budget that met our needs but curious as to if anyone has specific opinions about them to help guide us in our search. Always open to suggestions and places to avoid.

Edit: Mainly looking around the Energy Corridor, just trying to stay outside the beltway without going back into Katy.
