For example, if it isn’t the Astros (which is obviously will be), I would want the Toronto Blue Jays representing the AL in the World Series. I’ve really enjoyed watching them demoralize the Rangers this opening weekend. The Rays will also always have my respect for how they welcomed us during Harvey, but the Jays have a Gurriel, Biggio, and of course, George fucking Springer.

OK, I know nothing is certain yet, but hear me out…

IF he leaves, then I hope he goes and gets his well-deserved fortune from some other team. Good for him.

But, again, IF he leaves, then I won’t welcome him back to Houston. That dude was unapologetic, made a bad situation worse, taunted and pimped his way to a subpar postseason performance, and then, bounces…?

No one is going to boo him once he’s wearing pinstripes, while it’s going to be ‘F**k ThE aStRoS’ from those self-righteous asshats over in r/baseball forever. He did enough to win his paycheck, but hurt our team indefinitely, and didn’t even stick around long enough to pick up the pieces. I have always been (and will always be) an Astros fan, but he did not help us, and many ways, made our suffering worse.

Of course, if he ‘brings his talents’ back to Houston next year to win a WS and put everything to rest (finally), then I’ll eat my words and apologize to our dear subreddit.

TLDR: IF Correa comes back to Houston in a DIFFERENT uniform, I’m booing him and banging a goddamn trashcan.
