dating life in florida / california / texas
i’m a 20F, considering moving to the U.S but don’t know which state. debating between florida, california, and texas. they’re all cool and fun places but The thing is, i’m worried about my dating life. i’ve never had a boyfriend, i’m looking for a healthy relationship.
generally speaking I think I am a pretty decent individual and decent looking.
i have instagram i just don’t like posting cause i’m not seeking attention, not into showing off, don’t care what everyone is doing on the weekend/having for lunch, i only hang out with my family and i have 2 close friends, that’s it.
i’m worried i’ll find it impossible since i’ve heard miami is full of hook up culture and cheaters, talk about their money as a personality trait, which i’m the opposite of, i honestly don’t give a f**k how much $$ a guy makes as long he’s a good guy, i’m also not a clubby person, while they’re stuck getting drunk and clubbing. so i’m worried i’ll find it hard to find a good guy.
i’m not saying everyone here is the same, but it is true for the most of it. at least from what i’ve heard.
california might be hard too bc of the hookup culture, also models and pretty girls are everywhere so i’m basically a 2 in california.
texas i think is decent but i’m still not sure. i genuinely don’t know.
i don’t wanna have difficult time finding a man who isn’t just looking for a casual relationship.
it seems like everyone who’s in long term relationships or marriages are with people that they met in college. those of us who hadn’t ‘coupled up’ have had very little success in finding anything serious. The older you get, the worse dating becomes. college is probably the easiest place to make friends and relationships. i regret not going to college when i was 18.
what should i do now? im frustrated and don’t know what to do with my life.
