A little info about MMP ahead of the new season

Some, but not all of the changes fans can expect to see at the ballpark.

• No bags allowed except: actual diaper bags, medical bags and small clutches; those with bags will have a separate line.

Backpacks used as diaper bags do not count. Astros Buddies backpacks not allowed.

• No smoking patio, which means No Smoking at all.

• All tickets will be digital. So if you haven’t downloaded the Ballpark app, you probably should.

• All transactions will be cashless; reverse ATMs (cash in exchange for a prepaid debit card) will be available throughout MMP.

• No pregame autographs as players have been advised to minimize contact; guests will be advised to go to the seats on their ticket pregame. (No more crowding of the front few rows pregame, only ticket holders will be granted access)

• No camping out in reserved seats (Crawford Boxes, RF) for BP homeruns; only ticket holders to those seats allowed pregame access.

• Limits on elevator capacities to ensure social distancing. (Some have a limit of 2 at a time, some will have 4)

• Escalator riders will be distanced, so don’t be surprised if it takes some time to get on.

• Torchy’s has been replaced by an in-house taco stand.

Source: Roommate and girlfriend work for guest services as ushers and had training yesterday. Some of the changes were met with groans and disbelief so know that they’re getting used to it as much as y’all so be kind to folks just trying to do their job.
