Back in 2007 the Texans traded two 2nd round picks to the Falcons for Matt Schaub, and from what I understand they also signed him to a pretty large contract. I've recently thought of why they did that because he was a 3rd round pick, and didn't really show much with the Falcons. Obviously it worked out for a few years, but does anyone know the reasoning behind this?
