The future chief accounting officer has been with NOV Inc. for 13 years.

Over 130 Houston-area public high schools made Niche’s 2022 Best Schools and Districts rankings. Of those, the top 23 made the national list, with two ranking among the top 100 nationwide.

Some interim CEOs became permanent, some were hired after a nationwide search. Many CEO announcements over the summer were for changes that will take place later this year or early next year.

The top five in Houston all made the top 10 in Texas and the top 100 nationwide.

The new hire comes at a time when Quorum Software effectively doubled its headcount after closing notable deals this year.

The two companies are the first Houston-based startups to receive funds from the $10 million initiative, which launched last year.
