Court documents show a $50 million cap for bond projects, lower than the 2015 road bond, which totaled $280 million.

The projects include widening the Grand Parkway and a number of traffic control measures along FM 1960, among others.

The project list is part of the 2025-28 regional Transportation Improvement Program, which receives federal and state funding for major projects.

The expansion project will add 18,000 square feet of space and allow the food bank to serve an additional 5,000 households.

The funding is split between eight counties in the Houston-Galveston region and includes major projects such as the Grand Parkway and I-45 reconstruction.

Eric Lacy is challenging incumbent Paula Settle for Position 4 on Humble City Council.

The funding comes from back payment of fees from Quadvest Water and Sewer and Woodland Oak Utility as a result of a six-year legal battle.

The project is set to begin construction later this year following preliminary construction work.

Bobby Panzarella, Rick Swanson and Ray Owens are all running for Position 5 on Humble City Council.

The new development will provide a new apartment facility.
