The PickleBall Zone’s opening in Porter has been delayed from October to mid-November due to challenges associated with the facility’s water connection, officials with the sports complex announced via Facebook Oct. 18.

The venue will be available to host parties, group events and fundraisers, and will feature a variety of attractions including slides, sports air courts and zip lines.

Following a grand opening in late September, Old Town Spring is now hosting a weekly farmers market on Saturdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
