What started as a way to connect with grandparents during the pandemic has grown into a nonprofit organization about to celebrate its fifth anniversary.

St. Faustina Catholic Church, one of the fastest-growing parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, is adding a $43.35 million expansion to its current location, church representatives said. 

The season will kick off with “The Circadian Project” on Sept. 25 and end with the 10-Minute Play Festival in May.

It’s a Bling Thang, a clothing boutique, opened in League City on Sept. 6, according to a social media post from the business. 

What once was occupied by popular Thai restaurant, Thai Gourmet, is a new Thai restaurant called Krua Thai & Sushi.

The city of Shenandoah has adopted its FY 2025-26 budget in a 4-1 vote, with council member Ron Rainmaker voting against the budget. 

The alternative learning center relocated to the renovated Windfern High School building in July.

Extra Space Storage has expanded its footprint in Missouri City with a third location on Lake Olympia Parkway, a company official confirmed.

The company’s third medical spa opened this past summer in League City at the intersection of Main Street and Houston Avenue.

National burger chain Five Guys is now open at The Grid bringing its made-to-order burgers, hand-cut fries and customizable shakes to the  former Texas Instruments campus in Stafford.
