While the Spring and Dekaney ninth-grade centers opened Sept. 21, construction on the Westfield High School Ninth-Grade Center is still nearing completion.

The ice cream parlor will offer more than 50 flavors of ice cream, yogurt, sherbet, ice, and fat-free, no-sugar-added ice cream available by the quart, pint, scoop or cone.

The district plans to follow up in the coming weeks with a new revised traditional calendar, which will still include 180 days of instruction but end at the beginning of June, according to the email.
