Friendswood Community Hospital will open at the beginning of March, Suchmor Thomas, emergency care physician and owner, said in an email Dec. 7.

Clear Creek ISD officials will replace the video board at Challenger Columbia Stadium and central plants at Clear Creek High School after the board of trustees approved the facility and construction projects at its Dec. 14 meeting.

Clear Creek ISD students will start school Aug. 13 after the board of trustees approved the 2025-26 academic calendar at its Dec. 16 meeting.
