Houston rapper Bun B’s popular smashburger concept, Trill Burgers, has not one but two new locations in the works, according to filings.

The 172-acre business park is designed for 2.3 million square feet of space. It’s the largest industrial park Clay has developed since 2010.

DHL Supply Chain previously notified the state about layoffs at the two locations last year as well.

A Mexican seafood restaurant and sports bar is now open, while an authentic Mexican restaurant has started construction in a Webster mixed-use district.

The college’s new Waller campus will be part of a planned 450-acre town center development. Meanwhile, a nearby H-E-B project is underway.

The 171,000-square-foot warehouse will cater to smaller tenants as many developers are focusing on large industrial projects.

In addition to the first homebuilder in Johnson Development Corp.’s new Katy-area community starting pre-sales, the first park is underway as well.

The development includes apartments, retail buildings and a recently opened H-E-B.

Valencia, a Houston-area community by H. Ross Perot Jr.-owned developer Hillwood, is already home to 20 families.

This will be Dallas-based Holt Lunsford’s second industrial development in Greater Houston, following one that delivered in 2021.
