On Feb. 17, New Caney ISD trustees approved the general contractor for a $21 million athletics facility planned for New Caney High School.

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and Texas Children’s Hospital are forming a new partnership aimed at addressing childhood cancer.

The facility will feature indoor courts for basketball, futsal, tennis, pickleball and volleyball.
