JL Texas Pallets & Logistics builds new and custom wood crates and pallets and delivers them to customers or collects old industrial wood materials for recycling.

Here are a few events and things to do in the Spring and Klein area throughout the months of January and February.

Charm Thai Bistro owners Wanalee and Adam Gorelick celebrated the one-year anniversary of their business Nov. 1.

Students began the process of selecting courses for the upcoming school year in January and will have until Feb. 14 to make their selections, according to Spring ISD.

The owners also operate two other businesses—Noe’s Crepes Coffee & Tea in Conroe and Charm Thai Bistro in Spring.

The national gym franchise originally planned to open the new location in July, but the project was delayed due to the pandemic.

The policy will not apply to sensitive positions in law enforcement, jobs transporting dangerous chemicals or positions where the employee would have unsupervised time with children or the elderly.

The company will not pursue the project any further, according to Development Coordinator Dru Childre.

Spring ISD leaders named the new chief of schools and chief of communications at the district’s school board meeting Jan. 11. 

On Jan. 12, Spring ISD trustees approved a calendar for the 2022-23 school year, which includes a student start date of Aug. 16.
