On Dec. 10, Noah’s Give-A-Gift—a local nonprofit that helps schools—will mark one year since the organization launched, choosing its first recipient school on Dec. 10, 2024, Co-Founder Lindsay Carthen said in an Oct. 19 email.

The New Caney ISD board of trustees kicked off a $21.4 million project to build a new operations and transportation facility for the district Oct. 20.
