The local food truck is relocating tomorrow.

The district released preliminary details of what campus operations might look like in 2020-21, including the postponement of the start of the school year.

About 6,800 cases have been confirmed in the area since early March.

The Cy-Fair region surpassed 7,000 confirmed cases on July 21.

“The prevalence of the virus in our community means that it would be unsafe for schools to return in-person at this time or in the near future,” county officials wrote in a July 20 letter.

Dining from special menus at these local eateries Aug. 1-Sept. 7 will help support the Houston Food Bank.

This announcement comes the same day the Texas Education Agency updated guidelines to allow school districts to start the school year online.

Participating eateries will offer special menus and donate $1 from each meal to the Houston Food Bank.
