Here are four new businesses and restaurants coming to the Katy area along with one upcoming closure of a longtime local business.

Tokyo-based Rakkan Ramen is expected to open soon at 1321 N. Westgreen Blvd., Ste. 300, Katy. The restaurant’s Facebook page has yet to announce a grand opening date.

Hangr Skate Shop held a soft opening April 22 in Katy with plans to hold a grand opening in May or June.
