The new cases reported over Father’s Day weekend brings the case count in Missouri City above 400 and that in Sugar Land above 300.

The 171 cases reported June 17 represent the most cases reported in a single day by Fort Bend County since the coronavirus pandemic began.

The economic impact of the coronavirus on sales tax revenue is hitting the city of Sugar Land harder than the city of Missouri City, according to the latest figures released by the Texas comptroller of public accounts.

The business also offers academic counseling and private school and college admissions advising.

FBISD Chief Financial Officer Bryan Guinn said pay increases were not included in the budget because of the need to be fiscally conservative during the economic uncertainty caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The 94 new cases represent one of the highest single-day increases in confirmed coronavirus cases since the pandemic began.

The proposed framework would have both in-person and online learning elements.

Over the weekend, Fort Bend County reported 44 new coronavirus cases, 40 recoveries and 2 additional deaths.

Fort Bend County Health and Human Services reported 38 additional cases of the coronavirus June 12, bringing the county total to 2,358.
