Ferguson received 19,434 votes to Landin’s 14,651, giving him a 57.02% to 42.98% lead.

In a press conference Nov. 2, Fort Bend County Judge KP George and officials emphasized the measures the county has taken to make sure voting on Election Day is easy and safe.

Nearly 300,000 Fort Bend County residents voted in person during the early voting period Oct. 13-30.

“Book bundles are the 2020 version of ‘browsing the shelves’ and discovering a new favorite author or book,” Library Director Clara Russell said in a press release.

The board of trustees voted to extend Dupre’s contract by one year after his summative evaluation Oct. 28.

There were between 31 and 56 coronavirus patients in Fort Bend County hospitals from Oct. 23-29.

Both Fort Bend ISD and the city of Sugar Land unanimously approved their legislative priorities for the upcoming 87th session of the Texas Legislature.

Each of the county’s 30 early voting centers are open until 7 p.m. Oct. 27 and from 7 a.m.-9 p.m. Oct. 28-30. Election Day is Nov. 3.
