Businesses offering pizza, ice cream, sandwiches and Japanese cuisine are coming to The Woodlands area this year.

The collaboration with Baylor College of Medicine is an extention of the cancer center’s Texas Medical Center location.

The county’s active case count rose by 150 on Aug. 26, and 247 new cases were added to the county’s cumulative count.

Active COVID-19 cases fell by more than 300 on Aug. 25, while 146 new cases were confirmed.

All district campuses and offices will close due to potential effects from the storm.
