Twenty Katy-area restaurants are participating in the 21st year of Houston Restaurant Weeks, which is set to take off Aug. 1 and will run through Sept. 2.

Another option for pediatrics and adult primary care just opened in League City. 

The business promotes intellectual development; social and emotional growth; and active learning. Traditional school-hour programs, after-school programs and summer camps are available for children up to 12 years old.

The murals are part of League City’s Public Art Initiative, a beautification project that began in spring 2021.

Aero Cocktail Co. features a curated selection of cocktails, charcuterie boards, pizzas and alcohol-infused desserts.

Several events are taking place around the Bellaire, Meyerland, West University and surrounding area in August, including the annual Houston Shakespeare festival and the Children’s Museum Houston’s Faux-lympics.

Founded by Cleverley Stone in 2003, the annual fundraiser benefits the Houston Food Bank and raised $18.8 million to date in 2022. 

The wellness center offers medical and spa services at its new, larger facility.

Early in the COVID-19 pandemic, Dietmar Neidhardt took online courses from Carpigiani Gelato University in Italy. Every Sunday, he said he would serve his Sugar Land neighbors samples of the gelato and sorbet he had made. 

Loewe recently joined the collection of high-end retailers at the outdoor River Oaks District shopping center, according to a July 18 news release.
