Established on Sept. 28, 1949, the League City Garden Club celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2024. The nonprofit organization was presented with its own proclamation day by the city of League City in January.

Faith-based school Deep Waters Academy announced it is expanding its offerings to include ninth-grade students, officials with the school said.

The authentic Colombian eatery is moving its Katy restaurant from its previous location on Grand Parkway to a new place on Katy Freeway.

Hometown Smiles Dentistry opened its doors in League City in late January.
